Ever since it was founded, SANSE has determined to improve life quality and education for Ban Lien’s people. And without one’s contribution, our team could not have made such a progress in materialize our goals. He is Pham Quang Than - an entrepreneur in Bac Ha tea.
Than was brought up in a family with farming tradition (especially tea). After earning the Food processing degree, he applied for Hiep Thanh company and was proposed to take part in the manufacturing in Ban Lien. Despite the disapproval of his friends and family, Than decided to visit Ban Lien and then bring his family to live in this prospective land with a view to developing Ban Lien tea cooperative. By his sincerity and enthusiasm, Than had gained trust from Ban Lien citizens and became increasingly attached to this place. In addition, the people’s tough lives provoked him to find a way to improve their lives and Ban Lien’s prosperity sustainably. He soon became the cooperative chief Executive and chose producing organic tea as a rational direction for Ban Lien. Owing to the connected model among government, farmers, corporations and people’s effort, the Shan Snow tea tree has brought about positive sign in overcoming poverty sustainably for the cooperative.
