Scholarship

Scholarship

SANSE is a student-led organization, so we believe in the importance of education as the foundation of growth. We strive to initiate projects that bridge the access to education for the students; through coordination with the local school in Ban Lien, we have provided textbooks, computers, and school supplies to individual students to facilitate higher quality education.

However, our most ambitious and proudest work aims to extend that bridge of education beyond physical limitations. SANSE has initiated its own scholarship program that rewards hard-working students in Ban Lien with the opportunity to continue their studies at a high school in Bac Ha, the closest town to the commune.

From Student to Student

As students ourselves, SANSE believes the key to a child’s heart is genuineness. To us, keeping in constant contact and actively listening to our scholarship students are how we excel forwards. We learn more about their passions and give them the best support we can in their pursuits of dreams.

Development Camp

For our upcoming high school graduates, we have also established a summer vocational camp in partnership with Minh Tri —a garment company. During the two weeks, these students will learn the technical skills required in one of Vietnam’s largest industries. SANSE hopes that by instigating this project, the students will be able to expand their own skill sets beyond the limits of agriculture that their homes and families are dependent on. This will also be an opportunity to fulfil another one of our missions: cultural exchange. The camp will take place in Hà Nội, and our team members will take these scholarship students around the city, showcasing its deep history and unique attractions.

We will also hold discussions for scholarship students who wish to further their education, possibly by pursuing a university or college experience in Hanoi.
